Lovely new restaurant in this location. Food is authentic, staff is delightful. I had slow roasted pork ribs, really delicious flavours. Partner had a pad Thai, also very good and served in an edible bowl (wonton wrapper or something). Not cheap though, our meal for two with one glass of wine was $60. But of course we will eat there again, overall worth it.
Having recently moved to Richmond, we ventured out to Red Poppy Thai as the menu looked intriguing = a great mix of favourites and some untried dishes. The friendly team seated us quickly and we chose from a small but decent wine list. We started with the BBQ Beef Rolls which turned out to be be very tasty in their casing of pickled daikon (see pic). We followed this with a pork Phad King and a delicious tamarind sauced fish dish Pah Sam Rod. Great wee restaurant and we'll definitely be back to try more deliciousness. #supportlocal

Beautifully presented Sirfry cashewnut, the meal tasted great with lots of flavour, and the customer service was friendly, very helpful and relaxed atmosphere.
The prices were more than reasonable for the amount of food provided, and I suggest for family and friends to go in and experience the amazing food there!
We ordered the pad Thai and peanut sauce satay , was absolutely delicious. Would recommend. They also gave us two extra dishes which was so very kind !
Very welcoming, the food was amazing. Our party tried four different main dishes and they were all very good. Well worth a visit. Excellent Thai flavours
